With every paid entry comes the opportunity to enter 2 reserves (personal choice of one or none at all, is up to each individual). If after all the initial training and education you have one or more reserves left the following options will apply.
10 days prior to race 1 you can pay an amount of $70.00 in order to compete for prize money at race 1.(any reserve not paid for at this point will not be able to win prize money at race 1, however it will be entered in preparation for the remaining 3 races).
10 days prior to race 2 you can pay an amount of $110.00, or $180.00 if $70.00 was not paid at race 1, in order to compete for prize money at race 2. ( any reserve not paid for at this point will not be able to win prize money at race 2, however it will be entered in preparation for the remaining 2 races ).
10 days prior to race 3 you will be given first opportunity and will be asked to pay $200.00 if the previous 2 payments of $70.00 and $110.00 were made.
$310.00 is due if $110.00 was not previously paid.
$380.00 is due if $70.00 and $110.00 were not previously paid.
At this final stage of payment, spares are no longer considered spares, but are now considered birds available for sale giving you first option at this point to buy, as there is no payment stage for the final race.
Should you choose at this point to not buy your remaining spare(s), they will be offered for sale through the webpage at the outstanding amount for the remaining 2 races, first to notify by text or email will own that bird for the remaining 2 races. (text: 0447 966 425)
(email: email@example.com). Once a text or email is received, payment must be made within 24hours due to the lack of time available before the upcoming race, otherwise the bird will be offered for re-sale on the webpage. Every effort will be made to help you in buying your desired bird.
Any bird not paid for at race 3 will be entered at this point, unable to compete for prize money, and will again be available for sale after race 3 to anyone through the webpage, now considered an unpaid bird.
Any bird not paid for at race 4 will be withdrawn and will not be entered into the final race and returned to you at your expense or donated to an interested party. Should a situation arise where the bird is sold, all proceeds will be added to the prize pool the following year.
At any point that a spare is activated for a given race, and that spare does not reach the race that it was paid for, a credit or refund will be made. (example: a spare is paid for 10 days prior to race 2 @ $110.00 and is not entered at race 2, a credit or refund of $110.00 will be made).
In keeping with 4 above, you may choose to pay for reserves in advance throughout the year, or even pay in full an anticipated amount. Credits and refunds will always be made where spares are paid towards a given race that they are not entered in to. (example: 3 birds are entered and you decide to pay the full amount for all 3 birds. 2 birds are entered to races 1,2 and 3, but one 1 bird is lost prior to race 1. The amount due for payment would have been $70.00 plus $110.00 plus $200.00 each. Credit or refund now due will be $380.00).
